The twikga name stands for my illustrations and the heritage of the twikga publishing company, which was closed down in 2016 when we moved back to Holland. twikga books aimed to open the hearts of its readers for the wilderness, with its diversity of animals, plants and landscapes. What you love is what you cherish.

I believe that opening your hart to the small wonders of life will make you appreciate what you have and passionate about preserving the world around you. Visual art and story telling are powerful ways to do this. A lot of my work is a mix of photographs, drawings and collages.
